Reach A Village Names New President 📣

Solomon, in all his wisdom, begins chapter three of Ecclesiastes with the words, â€śThere is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” And it ends with, â€śI saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them?”

The wisdom of knowing that there are seasons of life can help us prepare for the next season while still working in the current season. Farmers know this truth very well. Each season of the year has its own work to be done to prepare for the next. Athletic teams compete by seasons, and even television shows have seasons.

I entered the season of international missions with a call from the Lord over 50 years ago. Working to see the Gospel be proclaimed to the people of Asia has been my life’s work. I have truly enjoyed it!  And looking back on those years, there could have been nothing better. There have been challenges, heartache and pain, but the reward of His Presence in the midst of serving Him has been fulfilling. Seeing what God has done has proven that any efforts made for His kingdom were not in vain.

I am blessed to announce that I will be stepping down as President of Reach A Village as of January 1, 2026.

My calling and passion have not changed, but this season of life demands that I serve Reach A Village in a different way and allow the next generation of leaders to carry the work of the Lord forward into their generation. I am confident from what I have seen that those who will continue to lead Reach A Village are committed and competent to carry on the mission the Lord has given us. The leaders who have served alongside me have proven faithful, sacrificial and spiritually aware of the great task ahead. Their labors have helped our vision increase to serve in more than 20 nations to advance His Kingdom by preparing His people to take His word from village to village until the Gospel has been proclaimed to every person possible.

Over the past seven years, Ellis Craft has proven himself faithful and capable of working with our overseas ministry partners to further the Gospel in their countries beyond what I was able to do before him. The rest of our team here in the U.S.A. has also served the Lord and helped us grow to the point of being able to see Gospel impact by serving hundreds of donor partners here in the U.S.A. and building the ministries of our international partners. It is the Lord’s work and I am confident that he who began a good work in all of us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus!

Blessings in Christ,

    Robert Craft
