Part 3: A Transformational Approach
When we talk about reaching the unreached, a natural question follows: How do you actually reach people in remote villages, across languages and cultures so different from our own?
At Reach A Village, the answer is simple, but powerful. We don’t go alone.
Instead, we partner with a vast international network of local Christian ministries—people who already live in these areas, who understand the culture, speak the language, and know their communities... who feel a deep spiritual call.
This approach changes everything.
Rather than overcoming outside barriers, the Gospel is shared from within—through trusted relationships, familiar voices, and an understanding of daily life.
Together, we equip these local believers to bring the hope of Jesus to their own villages. They receive training in proven, effective ministry methods—learning how to clearly share the Gospel, lead Bible studies, disciple new believers, and help start churches.
And something beautiful happens.
People begin gathering to study Scripture—often for the very first time. God’s Word is introduced in a way that makes sense within their culture. Questions are asked. Truth is discovered.
And as individuals complete a series of Bible studies, they receive something many of us may take for granted: their very own Bible—in their heart language, as long as funds are available.
This is how lives are changed. This is how villages are transformed.
At Reach A Village, we are humbled to play a small part in the Great Commission story.
As we continue toward the International Day for the Unreached on May 24th, thank you for walking with us—learning, praying, and believing that even the most remote villages can be reached with the Gospel.
In our next message, we’ll share a story of what this looks like in real life—and the impact it’s already making.
With gratitude,
Ellis Craft
Interim President
